The National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey (NFB of NJ) is dedicated to promoting equality, independence, and opportunities for people who are blind or have low vision. Our annual convention brings together blind and low vision individuals, families, professionals, advocates, and community members for an inspiring and engaging weekend of education, networking, advocacy, and connection. This year (from Wednesday, October 21, 2026 through Sunday, October 25, 2026), the NFB of NJ will proudly celebrate its 50th Anniversary State Convention; therefore, we are seeking volunteers to support us during the state convention!
We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable volunteers who would like to make a meaningful difference and help create a welcoming and accessible convention experience for all attendees. No prior experience working with people who are blind or have low vision is required, just a willingness to help, communicate respectfully, and be part of a team!
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the volunteer coordinator, Nimisha Rana at 973-563-3319 or email at volunteers@nfbnj.org
