As a Basket Raffle Assistant, you will play an important role in one of the gala’s most exciting fundraising activities. Volunteers will assist guests with purchasing raffle tickets, answer questions about the available baskets, organize raffle entries, and help ensure the raffle runs smoothly throughout the evening. This role requires enthusiasm, organization, and excellent customer service, as you’ll be interacting with guests while helping raise funds to support children with disabilities and their families.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to the basket raffle area and explain how the raffle works.
- Assist with the sale of raffle tickets.
- Help guests place their tickets into the baskets of their choice.
- Monitor and organize raffle baskets throughout the event.
- Answer general questions about the raffle.
- Assist with raffle drawings and help distribute prizes to winners.
- Ensure the raffle area remains organized and inviting.
Dress Code
Volunteers are asked to wear business formal or formal attire to complement the elegance of our red carpet gala. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes, as this role requires standing and walking for extended periods. A volunteer name badge will be provided upon arrival.
