The Oxx Foundation is seeking a dependable and organized Administrative Support Volunteer to help with the behind-the-scenes tasks that keep our programs, events, and community services moving forward.
The Oxx Foundation supports individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s disease through education, movement, creativity, peer connection, and community outreach.
This volunteer will work closely with the Foundation’s leadership team and play an important role in helping us stay organized and responsive to our community.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with emails, phone calls, correspondence, and appointment scheduling
- Entering and updating volunteer, donor, sponsor, and program information
- Preparing forms, flyers, packets, sign-in sheets, and other materials
- Organizing electronic and paper files
- Tracking registrations, attendance, volunteer hours, and follow-up tasks
- Helping prepare thank-you letters and acknowledgments
- Supporting program and event planning
- Completing general administrative and organizational projects as needed
Ideal volunteer:
- Is dependable, organized, and attentive to detail
- Communicates professionally and respectfully Is comfortable using email and basic computer programs
- Can maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Works independently while also being comfortable asking questions
- Has administrative or nonprofit experience, although it is not required
Time commitment: Approximately 4 hours per week with flexible scheduling
Location: Hybrid opportunity with remote and in-person work available in Toms River, New Jersey
Age requirement: 18 or older
This is a meaningful opportunity to use your organizational skills to support a growing nonprofit and help improve the lives of people facing Parkinson’s disease. Training and ongoing guidance will be provided.
