Appel Farm 65th Anniversary & Festival: Photographer

Join Appel Farm Arts & Music Center for our 65th Anniversary Weekend Celebration and Festival from November 7th to the 9th. The activities include a vibrant weekend of art, music and community, honoring the connections, shared memories and radiant spirit that make our center a creative home for all! Centrally located in South Jersey off Routes 55 and 40. Volunteer for a 3-4 hour shift and still have plenty of time to enjoy the festivities.

OVER 100 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR VARIOUS ACTIVITIES!
Volunteer in advance (A), for the festival day (F) or a weekend shift (W).

(F) & (W) (W) & (F) This position will assist the Marketing Director in taking photographs to document the weekend retreat and the concert on Saturday. Photos become the property of Appel Farm and will be used for promotions of future events. Volunteer shifts include 30 minutes of uploading photos to google drive at the end of the shift. Great for college or high school students looking to expand resume skills. Specific positions include stage photography, audience photography and activity photography. Training by Marketing Director will be needed at the start of the day. Please send a few samples of photos you have taken in the past to kbaer@appelfarm.org. (Need Smart Phone w/Camera)*

11/7/25 - 3:45-7:00pm shift (indoor stage shots)
11/7/25 - 7:00-10:00pm shift (outdoor, night campfire shots)
11/8/25 - 1:00-4:00pm shift, 4:00-7:00pm shifts (concert and activities


Groups welcome! National Honor Society, Scouts, Social Groups, Business-Led Volunteer Groups, Employee Resource Groups and other volunteer groups.

Festival highlights include:
WXPN Welcomes performances from 2p-7p on Saturday, November 8th

Performers to be announced in September.

• Volunteer waiver form will be e-mailed to you for signature.

• Complete dietary needs form for special diets.

• Request for t-shirt size. 

• Register by October 31st for your Free Parking pass.
• Some festival positions and all weekend volunteers require a background check and is paid for by Appel Farm.

Inclement Weather Plan: Rain or Shine. Some activities are indoors. There are sidewalks throughout the site with lighting. Please note that the festival is located in the field with the grass mown short. Sidewalks are only accessible to about 200 feet from the stage.

Get Connected Icon Free parking: Reserve by Oct 31st. Wear comfortable shoes. Dress in layers for the weather. Sun hats, sunscreen & umbrellas are encouraged. Bring a water bottle and lawn chair or blanket for seating.
