Volunteer Check-In

Day of Event Volunteer Check-In 

Unloading trucks and distributing supplies, setting up tents, tables, and chairs,  hanging banners and signage, decorating tents and tables (heavy lifting required ≤50lbs)

The Volunteer Lead creates a working infrastructure throughout the event. Key Responsibilities include: • Run event volunteer check-in and direct volunteers to areas in need• Serve as liaison between Staff and volunteers on event weekend

Setting up/taking down hydration area. Welcoming and encouraging/congratulating participants, mixing sports drinks, serving beverages,  icing down beverages and replenishing supplies as needed, keeping hydration area clean.

Walk MS would not be successful without the help and support of our volunteers, they are the foundation of our fundraising events. Our volunteers provide food, water, support, and encouragement to our hundreds of Walk MS participants.
