Plainfield Public Library - Labor & Literacy Libraries

Who We Are

Plainfield Public Library is a non profit organization with extensive experience in providing adult literacy services to the community.  Through various grants, we are able to share our knowledge, support and resources to other libraries in the state.

What We Do

Plainfield Public Library is working through grants to provide Digital Literacy, ESL and GED support to libraries in NJ so they can provide or expand these services to their patrons. We will train volunteers (typically training is provided 2x per year), as well as offer tutor roundtable discussions and ongoing support. We have an upcoming training via zoom scheduled for the evenings of July 14 and 15.
