Who We Are

The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights protects and advances the rights and best interests of immigrant children according to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and state and federal law. We accomplish this by applying a 'child-centered' approach, courage, collaborative partnerships, community engagement and the pursue of equality and justice.

What We Do

We advocate for the wishes and best interests of immigrant children through the engagement of independent Child Advocates. These advocates use ethical storytelling practices to understand and share the children’s experiences, helping us amplify their voices, provide technical assistance, and pursue the protection of their rights.
