Raise the Bar Family Services

Through a unique and community-driven approach, Raise the Bar Family Services Inc. (RTB) aims to enhance the overall well-being of individuals with disabilities and their families by developing high-quality programs, cultivating an inclusive community, and making resources more accessible for all. The organization has focused its efforts on Camden, NJ with the goal of developing high-quality relationships and focusing deeply on one geographic area. Based on the feedback of stakeholders, the market analysis of existing services, and the feasibility of successful implementation, Raise the Bar launched in October 2022 with three key program areas: resource navigation, family support, and youth programs.

We support families in the Camden community through three key program areas: Youth Programs: Kids Club Saturday (ages 3-11) and Social Squad (ages 12-21) provide children with disabilities a safe space to socialize, learn new skills, and build community. It also gives caregivers much-needed respite time. Family Support: we host a monthly Caregiver Support Night, which includes workshops, self-care activities, and facilitated discussions to build community and support among caregivers. Resource Navigation: we provide hands-on support to families in finding resources and advocating for their children. We aim to become a trusted resource for any issues that arise.
