Glassboro Child Development Centers

Who We Are

Mission: To provide accessible, affordable, high quality programs and enrichment for children and youth while strengthening the whole family.

Glassboro Child Development Centers (GCDC) has been leading the way in early childhood education for more than 55 years! Our programs offer opportunities that empower and support parents with the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of their children.

We proudly serve greater Gloucester County, including Glassboro, Clayton, Pitman, Washington Township, Sewell, Franklinville, Aura, Elk Township, Mullica Hill, Mantua, Deptford, Williamstown, Wenonah, Woodbury, Harrison Township, and other nearby towns.

What We Do

Currently we provide weekly care and education for infants, toddlers, preschool, Pre-K, Kindergarten and School-Age Children, with an average monthly enrollment of 300 children. We provide year round quality-rated, affordable child care programs and enrichment for low to moderate income (ALICE) families in Glassboro for Gloucester County children aged 6 weeks to 8th grade. ALICE stands for Asset Limited Income Constrained, Employed.

What makes GCDC unique? We provide essentials like diapers, wipes, baby food, and formula. We also provide nutritious meals – breakfast, lunch, and snack. In 2024, GCDC was recognized by the GC Chamber of Commerce and the County of Gloucester as Best of Gloucester County in Child Daycare for the second consecutive year.  We were also voted Gloucester County Nonprofit of the Year in 2024.
