We invite volunteers to lend a hand at the popular Festival of Fine Craft at WheatonArts! Various shifts and activities are available.
Volunteers can choose to assist with (please list your preferred area in the Additional Notes field):
- Children's art activities (either make-and-take table or glass fusing studio)
- WheatonArts information table
- Glass Pumpkin Patch (helping to wrap and bag purchases)
- Membership table assistance
- Front Gate Greeter (greeting and directing foot traffic into lines) 18+ years and older
- Beer and Wine Garden (greeting, checking ID, pouring) 21+ years and older
- Museum of American Glass greeter/Folklife Center Greeter
Volunteer Benefits:
In return for 4 hours of donated time, each volunteer will receive a volunteer badge (good for both days) and two additional complimentary festival passes for friends or family members. Continue volunteering throughout the year, and your time counts towards a free Make-Your-Own-Experience, offered when 100 hours of Volunteer Time at WheatonArts is reached!
Students and new volunteers:
- Please complete the waiver/permission form attached (students (ages 13-17) MUST HAVE the permission form, signed by their parent/guardian).
- Letters verifying service learning hours volunteered are available upon request.
Event Description:
Celebrating 23 years of artistic excellence! At this crowd-favorite South Jersey two-day event, engage with a diverse collection of 150 artists exhibiting and selling their handcrafted works of art. Experience unique crafting demonstrations, relax in the Beer & Wine Garden*, and create with hands-on family art activities. Listen to live music in the food court with a selection of gourmet food vendors and specialty food trucks. WheatonArts signature Glass Pumpkin Fundraiser* opens during the Festival as well! The Festival is included with general admission to WheatonArts.
