Volunteer: Join Us as a Volunteer: Help Make the NFB of NJ 50th Annual State Convention a Success! The National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey is the largest consumer organization of blind individuals in the state of New Jersey. Our organization is made up of blind people, families, professionals, educators, advocates, and community supporters working together to help blind individuals live the lives they want through education, advocacy, technology, mentorship, and independence training. We have well-established local chapters, committees, groups, and programs throughout the state, along with a team of dedicated leaders who are trained to provide services to newly blind people, assist with their adjustment to vision loss, and help them acquire the skills needed to thrive independently. Our collective knowledge and experiences drive our advocacy efforts, enabling us to work toward long-term positive changes at both the state and national level. For 50 years, NFBNJ has worked to break down barriers and create opportunities for blind and low vision individuals of all ages throughout New Jersey.
