Who We Are
Mission: To promote and protect the rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, advocating for their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.
The Arc Gloucester is a team of caring people motivated to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to achieve their highest potential through advocacy, education and quality services.
What We Do
The Arc Gloucester offers services and supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families through direct services, resources and advocacy. Some of our services include:
- Residential Services: The Arc Gloucester operates 17 residential programs across the county, including 13 standard group homes, two medical group homes, and two supervised living apartment locations. Situated throughout Gloucester County and equipped with 24-hour supervision, our homes are tailored to foster community engagement, promote independence, and help individuals achieve their fullest potential.
- Day Habilitation: The Arc Gloucester has five Day Habilitation centers throughout Gloucester County including a medical day program with on site nurses and medical staff. Through gaining new skills, participants can discover greater independence and express personal choice in their services while participating in their community by volunteering and participating in outings.
- Lifelong Learning Program: Provides opportunities for individuals 18+ to pursue their interests (dance, bible study, cooking, and more) in an inclusive, fun-filled community environment.
- And so much more!
