Non Profit Development Center of Southern NJ

Mission: To enhance the capabilities of nonprofits in the region by providing them with technical assistance, educational programs, and opportunities for networking and recognition.

The Non Profit Development Center of Southern New Jersey (NPDCSNJ) was founded in 2006 to strengthen the work of nonprofit organizations across the region. Its mission is to help nonprofits “do good, but do it even better” by offering a range of services to enhance their effectiveness. The center serves as a resource hub for over 10,000 nonprofits in the region, providing technical assistance, education, information-sharing, and networking opportunities.

NPDCSNJ’s key activities include:

1. Educational Workshops and Training: The center organizes workshops on nonprofit management, leadership, fundraising, and governance to equip nonprofit leaders and staff with the skills they need to succeed.
2. Networking Opportunities: NPDCSNJ hosts events that connect nonprofit professionals with peers, funders, and other key stakeholders to foster collaboration and support.
3. Recognition and Awards: The center acknowledges the outstanding work of nonprofits and their leaders through its annual awards celebration, highlighting excellence and innovation in the sector.
4. Support Services: NPDCSNJ provides technical assistance and consultations to nonprofits, helping them solve operational challenges and improve their organizational capacity. They also offer small stipends to award winners, recognizing their contributions to the community.
